Residential Support Staff - Substitute Positions

Northwestern Counseling & Support Services, Inc. (NCSS) is seeking self-motivated and energetic individuals to join our supportive Residential Teams in a part-time, substitute capacity. Our 24/7 Residential Programs host individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing a therapeutic and stable environment in community and residential settings
• Implementing person-centered & strength-based interventions
• Transporting clients
• Preparing and cooking meals
• Medication administration

Ideal applicants have:

• Experience in residential programming or working with individuals with mental illness.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A genuine and compassionate personality.

A valid driver’s license and the ability to transport clients in personal vehicle is require in this role. This position offers the flexibility to work when it works for you as we have a variety of shifts that we are looking to find coverage for.
