Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, attentive, and self-driven candidate to join our team, Biologics Pre-Pivotal Formulation and Process Development, as a Research Associate. Once onboarded, the successful candidate will contribute to developing formulation and drug product processes for innovative molecules. The candidate will have tremendous opportunities for career growth in a fast-paced and resource-rich environment through training and professional relationships. The ideal candidate is expected to be action oriented with high expectations of themselves and others. S/he should have good verbal and written communication interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Support formulation and drug process development, including formulation development, Drug Product manufacturing process development, and clinical in-use evaluations.
Operate laboratory instrumentation and/or processing equipment and train others to conduct simple experiments.
Execute and design low complexity experiments with minimal supervision in support of cross-functional projects.
Troubleshoot basic analytical methods and instrument operation.
Perform drug substance, drug product intermediate and drug product characterization.
Work collaboratively with peers from other departments.
Assist in training less experienced colleagues on techniques required for their duties, while ensuring that quality, safety and environmental standards are maintained.
Summarize experimental results and presents at team meetings and department presentations.
Author templated memos and reports with limited guidance.
Basic Qualifications:
B.S. with 0+ years of industrial experience in CMC development of biologics or emerging modalities OR
AA with 2+ y
