Position Purpose
As our DC Systems Administrator, you will provide planning, analytical, and technical support for warehouse management systems and distribution center operations. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing warehouse systems, supporting system integrations and upgrades, developing operational reporting, improving labor and inventory controls, and serving as a key liaison between Distribution, Information Technology, vendors, and business partners.
What You’ll Do & How You’ll Make a Difference
• Manage and support Manhattan WMS, LMS, MAO, SAP, and related distribution systems
• Establish system priorities to support daily distribution center operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve warehouse system, hardware, and software issues
• Serve as liaison between Distribution, Information Technology, and system vendors
• Submit and coordinate service requests for escalated system issues
• Analyze warehouse operations and recommend process improvements
• Improve labor efficiency, inventory control, and operational performance
• Gather business requirements and develop system-based solutions
• Create and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials
• Deliver training on warehouse systems and processes
• Oversee store order management, routing, billing, and operational reporting
• Calculate and maintain labor standards and incentive pay programs
• Perform audits to ensure data integrity and system accuracy
• Build and maintain reports using Manhattan SCI, IBM Cognos, and SAP
• Utilize SQL and reporting tools to analyze data and troubleshoot issues
• Configure task groups, item attributes, slot dimensions, and user profiles
• Manage wave processes, system codes, and warehouse system configuration
• Test and implement software upgrades, fixes, and enhancements
• Maintain Manhattan WMS, LMS, and MAO system functionality
• Monitor and troubleshoot SAP, MAO, WMOS, and Blue Yonder interfaces
• Support development and testing of system integrations
• Maintain RF devices, Vocollect units, Zebra printers, radios, and warehouse hardware
• Coordinate equipment repairs, warranty claims, and replacement activities
• Support labor management reporting, audits, and standards maintenance
• Develop SOPs, training materials, and operational documentation
• Coordinate consultant time studies and labor standards initiatives
• Partner with Information Technology on distribution center systems projects
• Prepare and correct incentive pay sheets for payroll submission
• Provide leadership, coaching, training, and development as assigned
• Participate in 24/7 on-call support and rotating weekend coverage
Qualifications
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
• Two (2+) years of experience supporting distribution, warehouse management, labor, payroll, or business systems
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
• Experience supporting warehouse management systems preferred
• Experience with Manhattan, SAP, Blue Yonder, or similar applications preferred
