Quality Technician- 3rd shift- 10:00p.m.- 6:30a.m.

PTMW, INC., the leader of prefabricated structures in the rail, power, and communication industries, is seeking a Quality Technician.  Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Carrying out random departmental and final product inspections, facilitate resolution of findings, and report findings to management
• Performing spot process and document audits on various elements of company processes and procedures
• Assisting in resolution of customer complaints and implementation of resultant corrective action
• Serving as an ISO 9001 internal auditor
• Completing special projects deemed necessary for the improvement of PTMW

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing quality role
• Experience in an ISO 9001 environment
• Experience in quality and manufacturing systems auditing
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Metal fabrication experience preferred
• Specific knowledge in welding, mechanical assembly, powder coating, and electrical systems is preferred
• Previous application of process/quality improvement and problem solving is preferred
• ASQ Certification or Equivalent is preferred (CQE, CQI, CQA)
