Job Description

  • Provides analytical support and data to production units to ensure efficient operation and production of quality products.
  • Ensures that all reported data are produced following established SOPs and QA/QC requirements.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment when required.
  • Reports non-conformances, according to established procedures and criteria, and assists in corrective action where appropriate.
  • Participates in quality audits.
  • Be available for critical off-hour samples when needed.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum College degree with science major (desired), or High School diploma with minimum 5 years Industrial laboratory experience.
  • Experience with comprehension of analytical techniques and operation of analytical laboratory instrumentation and equipment (such as GC, HPLC, GC/MS, IC, IR, Titration, particle size, GC/headspace).
  • Maintain proper laboratory data documentation.
  • Follows analytical QA/QC procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintains Good housekeeping and laboratory practices.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of GC and HPLC instruments, using Chromeleon and Sample Manager (LIMs) software are a plus.
