Quality Engineering Intern

As a Quality Engineer Intern, you will take ownership of at least one (and possibly two) projects aimed at improving processes using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other quality tools. Your work will directly contribute to increasing efficiency, reducing defects, and driving operational excellence. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while building the skills necessary for a successful engineering career.

Responsibilities

• Lead a quality improvement project (or two), applying lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Work directly on the manufacturing floor, analyzing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Collect and analyze data to support decision-making and process enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance.
• Model safety, teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving in all aspects of the role.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership at the conclusion of the internship.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program (second or third year preferred).
• Passion for quality engineering, lean manufacturing, and process improvement.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Available for an internship between May and August 2025 (dates flexible).
