Job Description

Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position is in charge of all quality control testing and activities on site including incoming raw material and finished good testing.  Testing activities include rheology measurements, reaction kinetics, density, application efficacy and visual characteristics.  This position is also in charge of completing short term technical customer service projects. Analyzing data and generating monthly quality metrics as well as report writing for short term projects is required.

1st shift role 7:00am-3:00pm 

Qualifications

• A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Chemical related field
• Surface science, surfactant science and emulsion chemistry experience preferred
• 0-2 years’ experience in an industrial laboratory setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work without supervision and accurately to solve problems and improve processes
• Good people skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
