Purchasing Team Leader

Begin your journey wish us as a Purchasing Team Leader at the Westin/Four Points Brisbane. The role will be required to assist the Director of Finance & Assistant Director of Finance in the smooth and efficient operation of the loading dock. It is the responsibility of the Purchasing Team Leader that realistic levels of all inventory goods in stores are maintained and to supervisor the purchasing function of the hotel operations.

Conduct their duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.

Your responsibilities included are:  

• To supervise the purchase and restocking of Beverage stores. 
• Review status of all inventory items.
• Ensure maximum and minimum stock levels are maintained in stores.
• Work with suppliers to resolve discrepancies between invoices and actual received merchandise.
• Assist/ Perform monthly stock takes and the investigation of variances.
• Ensure invoices are processed on a timely basis with correct approvals.
