Position Overview

Under direction, this position serves as manager of the Accounts Payable/Receivable Section. Serves as Liaison for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable programs. Serves as full line supervisor. Performs complex financial analysis related to vendor expenditures. Performs complex financial analysis related to deposit of revenues into state treasury.

Essential Functions

  • Serves as Liaison for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable programs.
  • Serves as full line supervisor.
  • Performs complex financial analysis related to vendor expenditures.
  • Performs complex financial analysis related to deposit of revenues into state treasury.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to (4) four years of college.
  • Requires (3) three years of progressively responsible work experience in accounting, external auditing, budgetary planning and control, or public accounting.
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefers at least five years of experience performing complex financial analysis related to vendor expenditures. 
  • Prefers at least five years of experience performing complex financial analysis related to deposit of revenues. 
  • Prefers at least four years of experience as a supervisor of a staff of four or more.
