Job Description

AECOM's Mississippi Bridge Group is seeking to enhance their team with a Project Manager IV - Bridges in Ridgeland, Miss.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
• Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.
• Consistently delivers profit margins planned.
• Consistently completes project without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
• Typically manages projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors).
• Manages more complex clients and projects.
• Has decision-making authority and directs other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such.
• Directs staff to operate and minimize exposure to claims.
• Supervises and directs Project Managers with multiple projects or program of projects.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from accredited college or university plus six (6) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications

• PE license in the state of Mississipi or has the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

• 8-10 years of highway bridge structures design project experience with California projects and standards.

• Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable Codes including AASHTO.

• Previous work experience in bridge design

• Proficiency in OpenRoads, SAP Bridge Structural Analysis software.

• Experience with OpenBridge modeler a plus

• Project management skills, including proposal preparation.

• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing.

• Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable Codes.

• Knowledge of current industry-standard structural modeling software tools

• Master's degree a plus
