Role Purpose

The Project Manager (PM) reports to the Women's and Children's Program Director, with scope of work directed by the Program Director and Chief and Medical Director, aligned to the Vice President's vision and strategy for the Shah Family Hospital for Women and Children at Trillium Health Partners.

This role brings structure, coordination, and execution capacity to a large and distributed clinical and professional staff leadership group. The successful candidate will enable Clinical Managers and Physician Leads across inpatient and outpatient services to plan effectively, advance their unit and service-level priorities, and deliver on program goals.

This position complements the existing full-time WC Project Manager, whose portfolio focuses on strategic and high-complexity initiatives. This role is oriented toward operational, tactical, or time-limited coordination at the unit and service level.

 

Key Accountabilities

1. Workplan Development & Alignment

  • Support annual and cyclical workplan development, implementation, and sustainability for Clinical Managers and Physician Leads across inpatient and outpatient services, aligned to program strategy.

  • Consolidate unit-level workplans into a program-level view and provide quarterly progress reports to program leadership.

  • Track progress against workplans and flag risks, capacity pressures, or dependencies early.

  • Review and track data metrics and program dashboards aligned to program initiatives

 

2. Project & Initiative Coordination

Provide project management support for operational, tactical, time limited or unit-level initiatives, applying consistent project practices:

  • Planning & Scheduling: Develop project charters, work plans, timelines, and milestone tracking.

  • Coordination: Organize and facilitate meetings, develop agendas and materials, and capture decisions and action items to maintain alignment across a distributed leadership group.

  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, log, and escalate risks and blockers to support timely resolution.

  • Reporting: Prepare status updates and dashboards to give leadership clear visibility into workplan progress.

  • Documentation: Maintain project files, templates, and administrative infrastructure to support efficient program operations, including material development, business cases, 

 

3. Integration with Program Leadership

  • Work closely with the Program Director, WC Project Manager, and WC Senior Administrative Assistant to maintain meeting cadence, support information flow, and ensure timely upstream reporting of progress.
