Project Leader, Optimization Team, Systems & Technology Integration

The Gallery Operations Project Leader is personable, open to learning, collaborates well with others and has a positive attitude. Both as a leader and a collaborator, teamwork is required in the development, coordination and implementation of complex projects. This role is based in our Home Office located in Corte Madera, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop communication, education and provide training in operational excellence for gallery teams. Including the ability to audit and assess processes quickly.
- Partner and collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Visual, Merchant, Allocations, Inventory Control, IT, Distribution Center, Home Delivery Operations, Supply Chain Logistics, Transportation and Loss Prevention Teams to lead to solutions and assess opportunities for improvement.
- Generate and lead programs and practices to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations in our galleries.
- Create and maintain best practices and policies for the galleries in inventory management.
- Identify, recommend and implement process improvements.
- Analyze gallery inventory data and promote inventory integrity across all channels of the business.
- Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring as appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. Energetic and effective communicator who is able to effectively communicate at all levels.
- Strong relationship builder, who knows how to pro-actively identify opportunities or problems and ensures delivery of Quality solutions.
- Proven organizational, problem solving and project management abilities with an emphasis on process improvement. Creative problem solving and innovative approaches to complex problems.
- Able to work independently and prioritize multiple objectives in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to build and foster teams, gain commitment from others and effectively manage the decision making process.
- Knowledge of retail inventory strategies and operational, supply chain functionality.
- Excellent data & analytical skills with a strong detail focus.
- Passion for improving the business operations and driving for results.
- Proficient with Mac Operating System, Google Applications and Microsoft Office.
- Strong Excel skills |Candidate must be able to navigate easily and quickly through large amounts of data using v-look up, pivot tables and utilize a variety of formulas.
- Familiarity with In Design is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years Operations experience.
- Retail experience is a plus.
