The Selection Strategy Project Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing the selection strategy for our Global Servicing frontline roles. They focus on enhancing the candidate and colleague experience. They collaborate closely with the Selection Strategy senior managers and global business and frontline partners to ensure we bring the best talent to our card members every day.
Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition & Onboarding (TA&O), Global Planning and Contact Optimization (GPCO), Global Learning & Knowledge Management (GLKM) and Global Services (GS) frontline operational partners.
- Support the frontline hiring process by creating and updating hiring profiles, job descriptions, and interview guides.
- Implement and support the onboarding journey for frontline new hires.
- Support deployment & review of candidate assessment programs.
- Work with team to ensure all selection and job-related materials adhere to American Express policies and procedures while incorporating relevant GS operational changes.
- Provide input and support for projects, initiatives, including configuration efforts globally.
- Conduct industry benchmarking and make recommendations to improve our best-in-class selection and hiring practices globally.
- Partner and support operational teams by establishing a comprehensive understanding of their working practices, challenges, and motivators.
- Report and communicate progress on hiring efforts with key business partners.
- Support hiring leaders and interviewers on hiring best practices, interview processes, and mitigating bias.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills, collaborative work and building of relationships across lines of businesses and markets.
- Experience working with teams across the organization to drive results without authority.
- Dedicated attention to detail with outstanding organizational and project management skills.
- Strong time management, workload prioritization skills.
- Accurately track and analyze data to identify and report on hiring trends.
- Ability to share insights from both internal practices and external benchmarking to make recommendations that lead to process improvements.
