Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Program Manager for Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM.

• Responsible for managing Navarro’s Fence to Fence Environmental Services Contract at Kirtland AFB.
• Provide onsite oversight of the base’s Environmental Management Systems, Air Quality, and Water Quality Programs
• Management of Hazardous Materials program.
• Management of collections, storage, characterization, transportation and disposal of Hazardous Waste
• Responsible for the development, review and approval of state and federal environmental permits and reports.
• Provide onsite/offsite technical interface between vendors and project personnel
• Manage work sites as the person in charge, controlling access, and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to field personnel

Requirements

• 10 years of directly related experience actively involved in managing the characterization, profiling, selecting andspecifying packaging, planning transportation, and specifying waste treatment and disposal of chemical/hazardous waste
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmentalscience, construction management, geology, chemistry, or related field.
• Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and locallaws, regulations, permitting, and guidance in New Mexico.
• Previous Kirtland AFB experience desired.
