Description
The Director will lead key strategies and initiatives within DiMe’s digital measures and diagnostics portfolio, including multiple active projects, engagements with sponsors on key topics related to digital measures, and non-project-based activities such as DiMe libraries, thought leadership, and other activities to drive the broad adoption of DiMe’s digital measurement resources.In this role, you will be solely responsible for the success of your projects, the success of the assigned staff members to these projects, and the development and execution of strategies to optimize the impact of your work across DiMe’s portfolio and the field.
You will be one of the primary conduits between DiMe’s measurement portfolio and external SMEs including sponsors, regulators, and potential partners. You will contribute to the development and implementation of thought leadership strategies that position DiMe and DATAcc at the forefront of digital health measurement in the world. You will coordinate across multiple projects within DiMe’s measurement portfolio and support the harmonization of best practices.
As a Director, you will also be available as an internal SME to other Team DiMe functional areas, including, but not limited to, our Education Team, Partnerships Team, and Certification Team.
The Program Director will demonstrate:

Subject matter expertise: Deep expertise in digital clinical measures development and deployment across research, care, and/or public health settings. Plus industry experience developing and/or implementing digital clinical measures in healthcare delivery or clinical research.

Project management skills: Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and coordinate activities with time-constrained external experts; prowess for time management and delivering goals on time within the given constraints; and ability to manage competing timelines effectively.

Relationship management skills: Leading a diverse set of internal and external experts with a broad range of personalities, interests, and incentives to execute clinical quality work on a tech timeline and position DiMe’s work in digital measures of health at the forefront of the field.

Content creation: Ability to personally develop and mentor the team in scientific scholarship, plus proven success in distilling key messages from complex concepts to create action-oriented resources for audiences across the healthcare industry.

Strategic planning: Setting priorities and identifying the best pathways for project success, including resources and stakeholders; contributing to org-level thought leadership; developing and implementing strategies to grow community impact

Communication skills: Listening, writing, and speaking to diverse stakeholders, including collaborators, senior management, and public engagement; accommodating and successfully harnessing a diverse set of personalities and interests to get things done in a professional, collegial and responsive manner; comfort interacting with regulatory colleagues as fellow subject matter experts
- Leadership: Commanding the respect and trust of the project partners, advancing activities that meet their diverse needs, internal recognition from colleagues as an excellent leader and role model, and mentoring colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge
Qualifications
- 8-20+ years of relevant work experience leading diverse teams to successfully deliver work products
- A specialized degree (Masters, PhD, MD, or similar) in a health-related field (preferred)
- Experience in the biopharmaceutical and/or medical device space, through prior role(s) in industry, consortia, or similar
- Proven success in advancing multi-stakeholder initiatives and collaborations
- Strong history of backing up strategic planning with successful execution and delivery across multiple prior roles
- Proof of excellence in relationship building with many external constituents
- Extensive and demonstrable experience independently leading projects
- Capable, energetic, and experienced in driving forward progress in the digitization of healthcare delivery
