Description:
The Product Manager-Access Control is passionate about building products that customers love (and buy). Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and working with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that are valuable, usable, feasible, and sellable, the Product Manager is the intersection between business, technology and user experience.
Qualifications:
- College Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing and/or proven working experience in product management. Current CPM (Certified Product Manager) through AIPMM or equivalent organization is a plus.
- A blend of passion, optimism, customer advocacy, curiosity and creativity.
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
- Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done. Driven by deadlines.
- Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in an organization.
- Excellent presentation skills to large and small, demanding technical audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Gains a deep understanding of customer experience, identifies and fills product gaps and generates new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth. Conducts market research that includes customers, competitors, employees, sales and marketing teams.
- Creates buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
- Develops product pricing and positioning strategies.
- Translates product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
- Prioritizes activities based on business and customer impact.
- Works closely with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver quality products, services, training and support with quick time-to-market. Drives product launches. Sets and publishes launch dates.
- Evaluates promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with the product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed. Acts as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
