Product Analytics Lead, Loyalty & Incentives
FrankiAbout the role
Hi, We’re Franki
Franki is an AI-powered startup transforming how people discover and choose the next place they’ll eat, drink and play. Our platform curates video-powered recommendations provided by a vibrant community of content creators and foodies who are passionate about sharing the best their city has to offer.
At Franki, we offer a dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment with tremendous opportunities for growth. As part of our team, you will be on the ground floor of a high-growth startup that is building the future of how people will find places and experiences that create meaningful connections.
About the Role
Franki’s seeking a Product Analytics lead to own the end-to-end measurement engine for Franki’s rewards ecosystem. You will build source-of-truth dashboards and metric definitions, design and analyze A/B/holdout experiments, and translate insights into clear guardrails and roadmap decisions across cashback, Adventures/Gigs, and action-based rewards. Responsibilities include cohort and funnel analyses, targeting and timing logic to drive repeats at the lowest cost, instrumentation and data quality oversight, anomaly alerting, and integrity monitoring (fraud/abuse, partner attribution). You’ll publish decision-ready weekly and monthly readouts and partner closely with Product, Data Engineering, Finance, BD, and Trust & Safety.
Note: Candidates residing in our preferred locations; CA will be given first consideration.
What you’ll do:
Rewards Performance Analytics
• Build the source-of-truth dashboards for TPV, D7/D30 repeat, time-to-2nd purchase, cost % of TPV, LTV and ROI by cohort & merchant.
• Diagnose funnel leaks across onboarding, activation, and reward redemption; quantify impact and recommend fixes.
• Model cost curves for cashback vs. points/miles; recommend mixes that reduce cost while maintaining retention.
• Define and maintain metric definitions and data quality SLAs with Data Engineering.
• Set annual/quarterly reward budgets and guardrails (cost as % of TPV) by segment and merchant tier.
• Propose tiers, streaks, and payout schedules for Adventures/Gigs and action rewards; align to target repeat behavior.
Budget Ownership, Liability & Forecasting
• Build redemption, breakage, and outstanding liability forecasts; reconcile with Finance (accruals, revenue recognition, P&L impact).
• Stress test scenarios (seasonality, promos, partner changes) and maintain forecast error targets.
• Publish a monthly Rewards P&L with variance analysis and corrective actions.
Experimentation & Causal Measurement
• Design/run A/B tests and holdouts for streaks, tiers, cashback caps, and gig payouts; ensure power and clean launches.
• Apply CUPED/uplift models and geo-splits to estimate incrementality; publish decision-ready readouts.
• Create an experiment backlog with hypotheses, expected lift, cost, and success criteria.
Risk & Integrity Analytics
• Define abuse/fraud heuristics (velocity, collusion patterns); partner with Trust & Safety on mitigations.
• Monitor partner attribution (new vs. repeat) and CPA integrity for external programs.
You’re a good fit if you have...
• BS/BA in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, engineering, Data Science) or equivalent. MS a plus.
• 3+ years in product/growth analytics, incentives/loyalty analytics, travel loyalty or data science, with 1+ years in a lead/ownership role.
• Advanced SQL and Python (pandas, statsmodels/causal inference); cohorting and retention analytics.
• Experimentation design (A/B, CUPED, geo experiments), power analysis, uplift modeling.
• Big Data & BI: Hands-on experience with BigQuery and large-scale datasets; building efficient queries, pipelines, and dashboards in Looker.
• Experimentation Platforms: Familiarity with modern experimentation and feature-flagging platforms (Eppo, Statsig, LaunchDarkly).
• Strong product sense; ability to translate insights into ideas for the product team.
Bonus points if you have...
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup; able to manage multiple experiments simultaneously.
• Excellent written storytelling; exec-ready visuals and concise recommendations.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-time zone teams
Perks & Benefits
