Principal Geospatial Analyst

Conducts geospatial analysis and mapping to provide a better understanding of a given geographic location. Extracts data from GIS software and uses various analytical methods to arrive at results. Applies mapping and analytic results to the context of relevant geographic, social, economic, and political factors. Communicates geospatial insights to senior-level decision-makers. Prepares written geospatial guidance for nontechnical audiences and delivers technical advice in formal presentations. Serves as a mentor to staff on the contract.
