Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Podcast Editor to join our team and help produce our company podcast. In this role, you will be responsible for editing podcast episodes, ensuring high-quality sound and content, and helping us deliver engaging audio experiences to our listeners. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about podcasts and audio editing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and refine podcast episodes for clarity, flow, and overall quality.
  • Remove background noise, improve sound quality, and enhance audio levels.
  • Insert intro/outro music, transitions, and other audio elements as needed.
  • Work closely with the podcast team to meet episode deadlines and content goals.
  • Ensure that each episode is ready for publishing on various podcast platforms.
  • Assist with other tasks related to podcast production as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, GarageBand).
  • Basic understanding of podcast structure and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for producing polished and engaging audio content.
  • Previous podcast editing experience is a plus, but not required.
