Attached job description is a snapshot of our Center-Based Paraprofessionals. Duties will vary, depending on school and classroom placement.

Position Function: Substitute paraprofessional positions are needed across the district to fill paraprofessional absences. The Paraprofessional assists the instructor in creative a positive work environment to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. The Paraprofessional monitors student behavior and provides necessary information to school personnel.

Qualifications Profile:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children, preferred
• Current Certification of Health, including negative TB test
• Completion of clear, criminal background check

Starting Salary:  $15.75/hour - commensurate with experience

Job Category: Classified, 174 work day calendar, hours will vary

Requirements:
-All employees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis). If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) we can accept a copy of your test results.  If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test.  Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
-Must submit pre-employment physical prior to first day of work.
