On our team, you’ll provide your client with peace of mind as you implement policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the database. You’ll use technology and tools to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical database.

You Have:  

• Experience with data migration jobs and scripts

• Experience in maintaining SQL and PLSQL processes and security standards and controls in order to identify bottle necks and deadlock issues

• Experience in DB policies, procedures, and standards

• Experience in performance testing and evaluation to ensure data security, privacy and integrity

• Knowledge of optimizing and simplifying architecture

• Ability to take ownership of performance and capacity monitoring aspects of the DB and assist the infrastructure team in sizing hardware used for the DB

• Ability to design, develop, implement, and maintain our core Oracle applications

• Ability to create a reliable backup strategy to ensure database backups are appropriately executed and periodic restorations are exercised to ensure backup quality

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:  

• Experience with Oracle management tools such as Data Guard, RMAN, and Data pump

• Experience with operating systems like Linux

• Knowledge of partitioning

• Knowledge of architecture design principles

Clearance:
