Responsibilities:
- Serves as an Action Officer for the DoD
- Updates DoD Directive and Instruction in accordance with the DoD Issuance Process
- Staffs and coordinates packages for senior leadership signature
- Proficient using the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) to formally assign/respond to tasks
- Schedules and runs the monthly team meetings
- Reviews National Defense legislation and drafts, reviews or coordinates on an Appeal, or Statement of Administration Policy
- Reviews Question for the Record (QFR) for consideration prior to Congressional Testimony
- Provides input to the biennial DoD Data Call, provides analysis on the responses, and contributes to the DoD Report to the Secretary of Defense Information Systems Agency
- Periodically conducts training curriculum reviews
- Provides input to briefings, read ahead (RAH), and talking points
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree
- Pentagon Action Officer experience
- Minimum Five years experience in Operations Security
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- TS/SCI clearance is required
Bonus points if you have:
- Knowledge of DoD operations security authorities, directives, policies, guidelines, procedures, standards, controls, and practices
- Knowledge of National Security Presidential Memorandum 28 and impact on DoD policy
- Skilled in gathering and analyzing facts, drawing reasonable conclusions, and presenting/defending such conclusions both orally, as well as in written form
- Ability to make reasonable interpretations from a broad spectrum of information
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI clearance required to start
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
