Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven IT Business Applications Operations Specialist to ensure the seamless operation of our business applications portfolio. This role involves working closely with business users, IT teams, and service providers to govern, monitor, and prevent incidents and manage changes in production environments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys addressing complex scenarios within a global organization.Responsibilities
Responsibilities (Essential Role Responsibilities):- Access Management: Oversee security and access requirements, including role setup, user provisioning, and deprovisioning.
- Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring smooth communication and support.
- Compliance Oversight:
- Implement and maintain Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) key controls, conducting regular self-audits of enterprise systems.
- Apply GxP controls to enterprise systems and perform periodic self-audits.
- Collaboration: Work with Infrastructure, Application Support, and Information Security teams to ensure compliance with control and documentation standards.
- Change Control: Coordinate and prepare Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews, ensuring thorough evaluation before implementation.
- Procedure Development: Write and implement operational procedures for IT systems to maintain consistent and efficient processes.
- Security Reviews: Conduct periodic reviews of core system security and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
- Audit Support: Organize and maintain documentation for audit requests and provide necessary support to auditors.
- License Management: Track software license usage against plan and address discrepancies as needed.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Take on IT
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Assurance, Information Systems Management, Business and/or related.
- Experience with governance, risk and compliance management or IT change control.
- Familiarity with enterprise business applications like ERP or HCM, preferably Oracle.
- Understanding of frameworks such as SOX, SOC1, SOC2, or GxP is preferred.
- ITIL certification or similar experience is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
Salary Range
$88,000 - $122,467 a yearCompensation & Benefits
