Operations Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ensure that CTS has sufficient orders to keep all of CTS’ assets fully utilized every day while also minimizing deadhead miles.
• Ensure processes are in place to maximize the team’s productivity and their ability to serve CTS’ customers and drivers.
• Provide ongoing coaching and leadership the operations team to include training when needed.
• Provide information to the operations team on how they are performing on key metrics such as revenue per truck per day, on time service, deadhead percentage, driver utilization, driver turnover.
• Build customer relationships with CTS’ customers.
• Ensure all new customers are set up correctly and coordinated with to ensure a flawless start-up.
• Help the operations team make decisions that balance CTS’ customers’ needs with CTS’ profitability.
• Provide daily direction and guidance to the operations team to ensure all of CTS’ metrics are optimized.
• Lead changes to processes and systems as needed to enable CTS to perform an optimal level.
