Summary of Job Duties:

Multicultural Center Student Ambassadors are paraprofessional undergraduate students who support and facilitate the mission of the Center for Multicultural and Diversity Education. The student position performs basic receptionist and clerical duties for the Multicultural Center. The Multicultural Center Student Ambassador is expected to promote an atmosphere of professionalism as well as be courteous and helpful to all with whom they have contact. The Student Ambassador's primary duties are to create a welcoming and engaging environment by providing excellent customer service and ensuring all the Center's spaces are clean and resourced. The Ambassador will also monitor Center spaces to ensure patrons are adhering to policies and procedures outlined in policy signage.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

• Must be currently enrolled, full-time student at UA with good academic standing

• Awarded work study funds in UAConnect

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least one year of customer service experience
