As the Director of the Moving Forward Program, your role is pivotal in ensuring the program's overall impact. You will be responsible for managing the Acquired Brain Injury Non-Residential Habilitation (ABI-N), Moving Forward Plan Community Living (MFP-CL) waiver program, and Money follows the Person Demonstration Grant. As the Director of the Moving Forward Program, your role is pivotal in fostering collaboration. You will work closely with other leaders and managers of the Moving Forward Program team, including the Director of Moving Forward Program Operations, the Transitional Assistance Coordinator, the Adaptive Assistance Coordinator, and administrative staff. This collaborative approach is not just beneficial, but essential to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the entire team. Your engagement with other MassAbility Departments, such as Legal, Fiscal, AQA, and Learning & Community Engagement, will be crucial in addressing program operation needs that could impact the quality of services provided to waiver participants.
Finally, the Director of the Moving Forward Program will be a leader in promoting MassAbilitys learning and participatory performance culture with an emphasis on high-performance teams, individual performance/contribution/ impact, and engagement in activities to promote and support a program/division/agency (e.g., committee membership, Roadmap workgroup membership, presenting at Town Halls, achieving learning and performance goals). The Director will be a leader in supporting MassAbility’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and racial equity, as well as innovation, transformation, and change, and create a culture of agility, excellence, and belonging.
At MassAbility, we are driven by a fundamental belief that we are all different but connected – individuals who share a common purpose and who bring our own talents, ingenuity, and perspective to achieve our vision. That belief puts diversity, equity, and inclusion at the center of everything we do. We are keenly aware of the barriers that many of us face as we strive to live life on our own terms. That’s why, as a community, we are committed to always being part of the solution. This work is essential to who we are as an organization. Together, we are making a better state possible for everyone. As a team member, you’ll join an agency that values a learning and participatory performance culture with an emphasis on high-performance teams, individual contribution/impact, and engagement in activities to promote and support programs, divisions, and the overall agency vision and mission.
