Mixer Relief Person RT5000

Summary:

Essential Functions:

• Perform routine operations to set up and operate mixers, liquids pumps, agitators, valves and filter equipment required to produce various wet formulations according to standard procedures.
• Select and move materials using material handling equipment as needed by operations.
• Use formulations, charts, and measuring equipment to ensure that materials are added according to formulation.  Perform calculations as needed.  Make, record, log, and chart appropriate product and process control records.
• Relieve Paper Machine Tender during designated break periods and fill in for Tender during absences.
• Observe prescribed or necessary safety precautions and work according to good manufacturing and housekeeping practices.
• Detect unusual conditions and report to supervisor. Maintain and clean work area/equipment, as well as perform various other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
