ms consultants is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to support our dynamic and growing Building Systems Business Unit in our Columbus office. This position will lead a project production team and work directly with our in-house team of architects, interior designers, civil and structural engineers to produce designs for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects across the country. This position will also take responsibility for the technical content of building projects and manage all steps of the project process.

What You'll Do:

Specific responsibilities include:

• Plan production for commercial facilities within multiple industries utilizing AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Lead a team of junior engineers and technicians to produce high quality construction documents and specifications for retail, commercial, residential and municipal developments
• Complete preliminary calculations to support design decisions within HVAC, ventilation, electrical, plumbing sanitary and water supply systems.
• Coordinate design elements with other in-house disciplines, including architecture, structures, site civil, and landscape design.

What You'll Bring:

Education and Experience

• BSME or BSEE from an ABET-accredited college of university, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience performing technical projects production
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit design software 
• PE licensure preferred, but not required

Our Building Systems Business Unit provides architecture, engineering, and planning consulting services to a variety of commercial and public clients including financial, retail, restaurant, office, municipal and grocery.
