Core Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures to use various material movement equipment to load and transport material into processing equipment.
• Perform auxiliary production tasks on a regular basis.
• Work in accordance with all relevant requirements including, but not limited to GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA and internal safety guidelines.
• Identify deviations and document/communicate them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.

 

Professional Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in ingredient or chemical manufacturing preferred.
• Powered Industrial Truck experience preferred.
• In-house fork truck certification is required.

 

Technical Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math and writing skills.
• Ability to follow operating equipment utilization procedures.
• Ability to follow safety regulations while operating equipment.
• Ability to operate forklifts and/or other powered material handling equipments (certifications required).
• Ability to to operate inventory management systems (e.g. SAP), including barcoding.
• Familiar with basic warehousing and shipping/receiving procedures.
