Job Description

The Business Process Manager will oversee and improve organizational processes to ensure they are efficient, effective, and aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate should have experience in process improvement, project management, process mapping, modeling, and analysis tools.  The role will entail analyzing and mapping existing processes, developing and implementing new processes, monitoring and analyzing process performance metrics, communicating process changes, and leading process improvement initiatives.

• Location: Chicago area preferred, but remote will be considered
• Duration: Approximately a 6-month contract-to-hire

What you’ll do:

• Develop new initiatives for continuous business process improvements.
• Track, monitor, and communicate the hindrance and defects in the marketing campaign management process.
• Coordinate with different departments and organize cross-functional teams to understand the requirements for the improvement of the process.
• Train and educate the individuals involved in the management and operation of different business processes.
• Analyze business steps and summarize the difference between various steps, and rank the final results.
• Study the present market condition, forecast future changes, and prepare new business processes according to market predictions.
• Monitor the operation of each department and cross-functional team and provide feedback.
• Guide and supervise officials of each department and make recommendations to enhance business processes.
• Analyze the feasibility of the current business process related to productivity, quality, costs, demand, and time management.
• Submit progress reports, feedback, and innovative suggestions to leadership teams.
• Review final output and conduct several rounds of quality assurance testing to ensure that work quality adheres to the organization’s goals, standards, and policies.
• Plan and coordinate business processes, and provide stakeholders with status reports on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Project Management, or any related field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to conduct meetings, seminars, and presentations.
• Proven experience using Business Process Management tools and software.
• Leadership experience and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities.
• Advanced analytical skills and quick response to new issues.
• Extensive experience planning and deploying business and technology initiatives.
• Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
• Ability to successfully liaise across business and technical teams to ensure proper communication across internal and external groups.

Additional Information

The starting pay range for this role is $70.00 - $75.00 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
