This leadership position is critical to the success of our manufacturing operations team. As a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor 2nd Shift you will lead your team to contribute to our mission of enabling safe flight. 

  • You will lead a team of professionals setting goals and challenging the team to achieve them 

  • You will own and optimize cell productivity, guide scheduling & sequencing of work, and foster a collaborative, achievement driven environment.  

  • You will lead continuous improvement mindset with your team to identify opportunities for innovations optimizing production.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

  • Collaborate with 1st shift supervisor to support initiatives and achieve product line goals. 

  • Ensure all quality related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.  

  • Guide cost reduction and process improvement in multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.  

  • Plan and execute scheduling for multiple cells or a complex cell to meet production schedules.  

  • Guide the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for multiple cells or a complex cell to optimize productivity.  

  • Facilitate activities for materials and logistics problem resolution for multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.  

  • Guide production innovation, including additive manufacturing, for multiple cells or a complex cell to enhance production capabilities.  

  • Collaborate with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service.  

  • Ensure all employees have a safety-first mindset and are adhering to EH&S policies. 

  • Execute production plan in line with the MPS (Master Production Schedule) to achieve on time delivery, hours, and efficiency commitments.  

  • Real time problem resolution and troubleshooting issues as they arise without the direction of management.  

  • Effectively manage resource requirements in line with capacity models and demand rates  

  • Pulse survey participation, listening to feedback and driving improvement actions.  

  • Lead and conducts meetings / reviews and prepares information to communicate the status of the programs to internal and external customers.
