This is a second shift position which includes an 8% added pay differential.
Provide Operations Engineering support to the Circuit Card Assembly Factory located in Andover, MA. Primary responsibilities will be to support the Operation of the Advanced Rework cell. This includes programable equipment, for multiple products, and multiple component types. Additional responsibilities include process improvement, cycle time reduction, defect prevention and operator support. Individuals will be required to participate in process improvement initiatives, establishment of process base line metrics, Defect prevention, and process data analysis.
What You Will Do
Creating and overseeing projects using risk management techniques
Translating engineering design requirements into process documentation
Computer and machine programming for Rework and inspection
Detection and Dispositioning of discrepant hardware
Leading root cause and corrective action investigations to solve problems and prevent recurrences
Participate in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodology
Manufacturing process development and support
Conducting safety / ergonomic assessments
Interaction with peers and senior personnel on technical matters requiring coordination between organizations and / or suppliers.
Tool/fixture development to drive ergonomics and reductions in cost and/or defects.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:
Knowledge and experience with ANSI J-STD-001 Class 3
Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
Experience with supporting circuit card assembly/manufacturing production floor, (process and/or quality focus).
Specialized Tooling Development (Jigs, Fixtures, Specialized Packaging Development)
Solder Profile Development
Experience supporting the following equipment:
Nordson DAGE
Onyx 29
Kurtz/Ersa 500XL or 600XL
Knowledge and ability to apply Six Sigma principles and techniques.
Experience in DFMA principles
Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Self-motivated and results oriented.
Innovative mindset that drives continuous improvement and keeps pace with advances in technology.
Detail oriented with strong coordination skills.
Ability to work in a team setting as well as individually.

Active DoD security clearance (confidential)
Experience with automated equipment and programming
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Excel, PPT, Project, Word)
