Manager, Operations (Friday-Mon Weekend Shift)

Position Overview: 

Key Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Operations Manager to lead and oversee the weekend shift of our inbound and outbound operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing operational processes, optimizing workflows, and ensuring efficient handling of collectible items from receival to fulfillment. This individual will be responsible for coordinating the movement of collectibles across various stages, ensuring quality control, inventory management, and timely deliveries, all while maintaining a focus on collector experience. Work days to follow the weekend Operations shift schedule of Friday to Monday.  

Work days will align with the weekend Operations shift schedule of Friday through Monday. 

 

Inbound Operations: 

• Oversee the inbound process, including the receipt and inspection of collectibles from collectors. 
• Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all incoming items. 
• Maintain inventory records, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in the system. 

Ingestion (Processing and Vaulting): 

• Lead the ingestion process, including the digitizing, quality control review, and vaulting of collectibles. 
• Work with team members to ensure collectibles are accurately processed, tagged, and stored in the appropriate areas. 
• Implement and maintain standardized procedures for the handling and storage of items to minimize risk of damage. 
• Continuously assess and improve the speed and efficiency of the ingestion process. 

Outbound Operations (Fulfillment): 

• Oversee the outbound logistics, including the picking, packing, and shipping of collectibles to customers or partners. 
• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, focusing on quality and packaging standards to minimize damages, returns, or complaints. 
• Monitor and optimize shipping practices. 
• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to track orders and resolve any issues related to delivery. 
• Continuously evaluate workflows and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs. 

Team Leadership & Training: 

• Manage a team of operations staff specialists. 
• Provide training and mentorship to ensure team members are well-equipped to perform their tasks effectively. 
• Foster a positive and efficient work environment with a focus on teamwork and productivity. 

Quality Control & Risk Management: 

• Ensure all collectibles are handled with the highest care and attention to quality, mitigating the risk of damage or loss. 
• Develop and enforce quality control protocols for processing, vaulting, and shipping of items.
