The Challenge
We are looking for a Manager of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting to join our team. This role will play a critical part in our journey to public company readiness. This role is responsible for preparing US GAAP financial statements, providing technical accounting analysis, and assisting with the administration of the Company’s stock plan. This role reports to the Director of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting.
Your Mission
- Preparation of annual and interim U.S. GAAP financial statements and related footnotes
- Liaison with the external auditors to support all aspects of the annual audits
- Work cross-functionally on technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, M&A accounting, stock-based compensation, etc.
- Draft technical accounting memos and accounting policies for public company readiness
- Participate in the month end close process and own the recording of complex accounting transactions
- Assist with administration of the company’s stock plan by supporting the new grant process and tracking option activity in our equity system

You are able to communicate, both verbal and written, with all levels of the organization. You are meticulous in updating accounting records and pride yourself with attention to detail and accuracy. You are adaptable to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are self-motivated; someone who is able to work independently, multi-task and prioritize your workload.
Your experience includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license
- At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience with Big 4 public accounting / audit background preferred
- Experience working with SEC clients (if coming from public accounting) or at an SEC Registered Company (if coming from private)
- Must have shown the ability to perform independent accounting research and the subsequent documentation of accounting issues and conclusions
For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.
Salary Range$108,750—$163,125 USDWhere we Work
