What YOU will do

  • Coordinate activities of engineering or technical personnel involved in designing, fabricating, modifying or testing of products.
  • Monitor the cost, schedule and technical performance of sizable company programs or subsystems of major programs.
  • Manage major responsibilities across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Set objectives and execute approach for achievement of operational results.
  • Innovate, design develop and implement technologies, components, sub-systems, machines, tools and systems to ensure compliance to specifications, requirements and customer guarantees.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Must possess at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field and 8 years of progressive experience in a role performing general stress analysis of aircraft structure components. In the alternative, at least a master's degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience in a role performing general stress analysis of aircraft structure components would be acceptable.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with static and fatigue analysis of aircraft nacelle structures.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with metallic and composite aircraft nacelle structural parts.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with structural repairs of nacelle structures.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with mechanical/aerospace FEA tools to include Patran and Nastran.
  • Must possess at least 1 year of experience in leading a technical team.

The salary range is $188,302.00 - $221,000.00 USD per year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
