As a Manager, you would direct a team to advise and empower senior financial leaders, so they make the best decisions. We want you to focus your leadership and communication skills on interpreting data and communicating insights so the numbers come alive. This role will support financial planning and analysis for our Studio and Content Sales & Licensing businesses, as well as for additional enterprise-wide initiatives that include valuation and content spend. Every day is different! On any one day you might:

• Prepare dynamic messages for audiences including senior executives at Corporate and Disney Entertainment, as well as the Board of Directors
• Perform and analyze quarterly, annual or 5-year segment operating plans and content spending
• Support/engage with the finance team, in addition to functions such as Corporate Strategy, Investor Relations and Treasury:
  • Evaluate the Company’s long-term plan, including valuation analysis of lines of business
  • Facilitate preparing ongoing investor and financial communications
  • Analyze cash flow forecasts and cases for major content projects

• Engage in ad-hoc financial analysis, including special projects at the request of the CFO
• Interact with outstanding partners to whom are hardworking and dedicated

Experience/ skills/ training:

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning, strategic planning, investment banking and/or finance is preferred, ideally 1 or 2 years post-MBA, and at least 2 years of experience leading a Finance team
• Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with proven business and financial competence
• Positive relationship building skills and a highly professional “client service orientation”
• Personable, leader and effective manager of people, who leads by example and will mentor a team to meet high profile and dynamic objectives
• A standout colleague who possesses proven interpersonal and organizational skills, collaborative mentality and the ability to navigate and build trust in a sophisticated organization
• Excellent communicator in both oral and written settings

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, California is $126,000 to $157,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
