Collins Aerospace Environmental and Airframe Control Systems (EACS) is currently seeking a highly self-motivated and experienced people leader demonstrating leadership qualities to join our team working in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate would be a commutable distance from our Windsor Locks, CT site. This position will be considered a hybrid schedule reporting on-site as needed.

What You Will Do

• Draft, interpret and manage contract documents, including terms, in support of the Contracts function and the EACS Business Unit.
• Adhere and guide team with Import / Export Compliance Requirements.
• Lead coordination with the customer program team on contract interpretations and strategies.
• Take a lead role in the redlines, summaries and mid-complexity negotiation of terms and conditions of customer agreements (various contract types) and be able to guide direct reports in this process.
• Adhere to, comply, and guide direct reports with standard work processes.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. Participate in internal and external customer meetings and reviews.
• Disseminate (flowdown) Customer contractual requirements within the organization.
• Liaison role between internal and external customers.
• Lead Proposal Management and Business Risk Mitigation, including Risks & Opportunities, and communicate impacts to the business.
• Account Receivable Management.
• Manage a broad landscape of customers and programs.
• Lead team of 3-5 direct reports

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Contracts or Supply Chain experience
• Government Contracting
• FAR 15 and FAR 12 experience
• Commercial Item Determination experience
• Prior management/lead experience
