What You Will Do
Forescout has an excellent opportunity for an engaging and employee-focused Manager, Accounting to join our high-energy, multi-cultural, world-changing team. The US Manager, Accounting role is a critical role within our Finance & Accounting team, responsible for our US Controllership functions. We are looking for the financial leader who can lead this organization into our next chapter: Extending our current systems and processes – infrastructure that has served our over 3,000+ customer base, across 70 countries and our over 1,000 employees at revenue levels exceeding $300 million annually – on to the next level: 1,000+ employees and annual revenues approaching $500M. Key routine responsibilities of the role include ensuring the accurate reporting of our consolidated financial and accounting data, technical accounting research, day-to-day accounting operations of our US entities including compliance with the Company’s internal control procedures. This position will be responsible for maintaining the necessary infrastructure and processes within our US accounting department to ensure successful compliant operations. Key non-routine responsibilities of the role include extending our current systems and processes to levels necessary to continue the Company’s rapid growth trajectory The position will report to the Sr. Director Corporate Controller. The Accounting Manager will possess strong organizational, communication and leadership skills. The candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to provide solutions for issues identified. The successful candidate is a competent individual with integrity, accountability, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player. The position requires a “hands on” person who is flexible, hard-working and able to work well under pressure.
- Help lead the US Accounting organization, partnering with other organizational leaders to ensure compliant with US GAAP and the Company internal control procedures and to drive continued process improvement across organization.
- Management of current ~ 6-person team completing following activities:
- Monthly worldwide close, including intercompany activity, consolidations, foreign currency translation.
- All general ledger activity.
- Payroll.
- Accounts payable processing.
- Financial reporting to our investors and technical accounting.
- Accounting systems and operations.
- Management of technical accounting matters, including preparation of technical memos.
- Collaboration with other accounting leaders from other functions such as international controllership, taxation, treasury and revenue.
- Assessment of existing processes, including system use, and implementation of improvements that can be made to support scalability in future operations.
- Support of quarterly earnings release activities.
- Assist with special projects as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 7+ years’ experience in Accounting and / or Finance, preferably with experience in high growth environments (high technology, specifically in software industry preferred).<
