Maintenance Mechanic /Electrician

Arxada is looking for an Maintenance Technician to be located in our Atlanta Metro Area, GA location. This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment and systems according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives. Responsible for the maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC and plumbing systems. Capable of working independently and in a team environment. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Inspection of equipment, structures or materials to troubleshoot, identify and correct causes of failure.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform work on mechanical systems

• Perform work on electrical systems

• Perform work on HVAC systems

• Perform work on PLC systems

• Calibrate and repair pressure, level, flow and temperature instrumentation

• Perform work on various subordinate systems (Elevator, Lighting, Control Air, Boiler, ETC)

• Perform other duties as assigned

Key requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Preferred area of study: Technical College or Journeyman/USMAPS Programs

• 3+ years of experience in a chemical plant

• 3+ years of maintenance experience; USAF or USN Technical/Engineering MOS/Rating accepted
