About the Role:
A full-time, permanent position has become available within The Royal Children’s Hospital for a Linen Services Coordinator within the Support Services Department.
As a Linen Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing the safe, timely and hygienic supply of linen across the RCH in both clinical and non-clinical areas of the hospital. Reporting to Support Services Department, you will manage the operational and administrative oversight of the RCH linen service and serve as the central interface for management and internal distribution of linen. Your well-developed customer service and leadership skills will provide you with the ability to lead others within a team environment in varying locations throughout the hospital. Your excellent organisation and planning skills will enable you to provide a high-level service to patients, families and colleagues.
Classification for this position is in accordance wiith Award 10 - Managers and Administrative Workers.
Depending on experience and qualifications, this will range from A041 Grade 4, Level 1) to A045 (Grade 4, Level 5), FTE base salary $87,003.8 - $96,181.28 per annum, plus superannuation.

- Demonstrated ability to supervise and support staff, including coordinating daily work activities, monitoring performance, providing guidance, and fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and compliance, with ability to monitor service standards, identify process improvements and ensure linen management practices meet organisational policies and quality requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail with the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Demonstrated experience in providing advice using established and standardised procedures
- Demonstrated ability to respond flexibly to client needs with the ability to develop practical solutions to problems and provide advice in area of expertise
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to support operational objectives
