JOB TITLE: Product/Inventory Control Coordinator

Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.

 

JOB SUMMARY

Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for effectively coordinating an accurate Raw Materials inventory with operational efficiencies.  This accounting and operational process crosses multiple businesses, product lines, and departments.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Makes recommendations and implements programs to improve inventory management processes.
  • Investigates inventory discrepancies and forwards resolution decisions to appropriate associates.
  • Ensures that inventory reconciliations are investigated and remedied within company guidelines.
  • Performs inventory control and operational functions utilizing warehouse operating system.
  • Performs the cycle count program ensuring all documentation and records are maintained so that company guidelines are met. 
  • Perform investigations into potential Bill of Materials problems and report findings. 
  • Ensures that all non-conforming product is maintained within company guidelines and legal regulations.
  • Performs analysis and trend reporting to identify successful storage strategies and pick efficiencies.
  • Assists in training and certifying material handlers on procedures and equipment.
  • Daily coordination with Material Handlers/Planning/Procurement Department.
  • Gathers information about operations to identify areas of concern, recommend course of action and helps implement and measure performance results.

 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must be flexible with work schedule.
  • Must be able to work in an environment where exposure to wet and or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation, and vibration may exist.
  • In the absence of the team lead or supervisor, may assume responsibility for organizing, leading, and completing daily shift operational tasks.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Some college preferred.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience.
  • Knowledge of technologies and methods of manufacturing area, typically acquired through a minimum of 2 years of work experience in warehousing/material handling.
  • Solid back
