Location: Nederland, Colorado

Job Summary: The Bartender Lead supports the F&B Managers with the daily operations of all dining outlets at the resort, ensuring exceptional guest service, high-quality food and beverage standards, and efficient team performance. This role includes staff management, scheduling, inventory control, and coordination with kitchen and front-of-house teams. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for hospitality, a focus on operational excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal mountain environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills & ability to lead by example.

  • Excellent customer service, ability to be around and directly interface with our guests and employees.

  • Maintain proper stocking levels for sales of alcohol, food and general merchandise.

  • Maintaining cleanliness and highest possible appearance of the facilities.

  • Provides leadership to the department regarding the areas of guest experience, quality of product, cost of goods, and product line ideation.

  • Execute Eldora Mountain's quality control standards and meet restaurant imaging guidelines.

  • Maintain a professional relationship with vendors, maintain inventory levels, product review/ordering, and maintain presentable building structure and grounds.

  • Attend managerial meetings (manager's, food and beverage, and one on one's).

  • Sets the example by following all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests.

  • All employees are expected to support Eldora’s corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment by participating in our Sustainable Transportation Program. This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. These actions help reduce Scope 3 emissions, lead by example, and ensure adequate parking for our guests.

  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations. 

Qualifications:

  • Has valid US Driver’s License & ability to meet company standards for MVR.

  • Must be TIPS certified & able to legally serve alcoholic beverages in the State of Colorado.

  • Basic computer skills involving Microsoft Suite, and inventory management software.

  • Ability to supervise in a fast paced, ever changing environment.

  • 2+ years fine dining restaurant experience or related industry.

  • 4+ year's management experience in general of a food and beverage outlet preferred.

  • Knowledge of merchandising food and beverage products/retail sales.

Physical Requirements:

  • Bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling & prolonged standing 

  • Eye/hand coordination & visual concentration on equipment 

  • Concentrated reading and writing 

  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.  

  • Extreme cold, extreme heat and sun exposure  

  • Variation in temperature from hot to cold 

Supervisory Duties:

  • Oversee a team of ~10-15 employees

  • Assist in:

  • Ordering and inventory management
