Position overview:
The Department of Healthcare and Family Services is seeking to hire a motivated candidate to serve as a Kidcare Supervisor assigned to the Bureau of All Kids. Under general direction, the position supervises and administers a unit providing medical casework services to applicants and recipients of public assistance and provides direct supervision and administrative direction to professional caseworkers. This position serves a functional resource to a Public Aid Lead Casework Specialist and less experienced caseworkers and assists with on-the-job training for new staff.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent team leadership skills, ability to thrive in a high volume and fast paced environment and demonstrate the ability to collaborate with team members to ensure operations are running effectively.
