Mac IT Support Engineer – Cambridge

Location: Cambridge – 5 days onsite
Start: ASAP

We are looking for a Mac-focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our customer's IT team in Cambridge on an initial 3-month contract.

The environment is approximately 90% Mac / 10% Windows, so strong hands-on Mac/macOS support experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1st/2nd line desktop support, primarily for Mac users
Manage and resolve tickets through the IT service desk
Provide face-to-face and walk-up support
Set up new users and hardware
Support onboarding and offboarding
Manage user access and general IT requests
Troubleshoot Mac hardware and software issues
Provide a professional, friendly service to users

Essential Experience

Strong Mac/macOS support experience
Previous Desktop Support / IT Support experience
Good troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Comfortable working onsite and dealing directly with users
Desirable: Microsoft Entra ID, Cisco and MDM experience.

The customer is open to someone junior/early in their career who is technically capable, keen to learn and has strong people skills.
