What we are looking for:
Yazaki is looking for IT Project Manager to join our Information Technology team in Canton, MI. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.
The IT Project Manager identifies and manages the IT service improvement activities required to allow our internal customers to meet their business objectives.
What you will be doing:
- Gain a thorough understanding of the customer’s business objectives, processes and tools.
- Work with the customer and the Business Integration Teams to identify and prioritize the high value process improvement initiatives
- Manages the execution of the IT service improvement projects, including quality, costs, scheduling, resources, tasks, risks, issues and communication.
- Various communication and customer advocacy activities, such as managing customer budget information, IT process and policy information, and service level issues
- Remains knowledgeable of information technology trends in general and is knowledgeable of the IT environment at YNCA.
- Manages large scale, complex implementations and integration of new technology and new processes involving multiple external and internal constituents (software vendors, integrators, hosting providers, s, business units and functional groups).
- Manage all phases of implementation including vendor selection, contract review, budget, project planning, mobilization, realization, change management, deployment and stabilization.
What you will bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Information Technology, Engineering or other field related to customer processes
- Preferred: PMP certification
- 5-7 years of experience in Information Technology and Project Management
- Experience working with Purchasing preferred
- Experience using MS Project, ServiceNow, Teams, Outlook, SuccessFactors and SAP
- Thorough knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
