The Issue Counter Attendant is responsible for staffing the front desk of the Recreation Center.Job Description
Essential Functions
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Utilize Fusion membership software to check members into the facility, rent out equipment and locker keys, input memberships, and other associated tasks
- Assist students and members both in person and over the phone with questions regarding the Jefferson Recreation and Fitness Center & it’s programs
- Greet and assist students and members in a friendly and professional manner
- Process credit card transactions, membership applications, and rental agreements
- Complete rounds of the facility, usage reports, and light cleaning/organizational duties
- Provide a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for students and members
- Be knowledgeable in and promote current Recreation Center activities, programs, and promotions
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required):
- Experience utilizing membership software (Fusion preferred)
- Customer service
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:
- High school diploma
AND
Experience:
- 1 year of Front Desk experience preferred
Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements:
- CPR/First Aid/AE
