The Issue Counter Attendant is responsible for staffing the front desk of the Recreation Center.

Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
  • Utilize Fusion membership software to check members into the facility, rent out equipment and locker keys, input memberships, and other associated tasks
  • Assist students and members both in person and over the phone with questions regarding the Jefferson Recreation and Fitness Center & it’s programs
  • Greet and assist students and members in a friendly and professional manner
  • Process credit card transactions, membership applications, and rental agreements
  • Complete rounds of the facility, usage reports, and light cleaning/organizational duties
  • Provide a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for students and members
  • Be knowledgeable in and promote current Recreation Center activities, programs, and promotions

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required):

  • Experience utilizing membership software (Fusion preferred)
  • Customer service

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma

AND

Experience:

  • 1 year of Front Desk experience preferred

Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements:

  • CPR/First Aid/AE
