Job Description
Eurofins Environment Testing In Ashland, VA is looking for an Invoicing Clerk to join the team!
Under general supervision from the Department Manager, the Invoicing Clerk performs routine invoicing tasks such as examining, verifying, and correcting invoices to ensure completeness and accuracy. Prepares all purchase orders and enters into accounting software. Performs a variety of other office support functions as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processes invoices, credits, and debits and routes copies.
- Merges invoices to be forwarded to Accounting Department.
- Prepares invoices for transmittal with copies of all invoices.
- Converts invoices into Excel.
- Sends invoices to vendors for pre-invoice numbers and sends invoice for payment once preinvoice is received.
- Maintains tracking log for status of all invoices.
- Answering phones, responding to clients requests or transferring to the necessary department
- Maintain current records including billing addresses, contacting clients as needed
- Help clients understand billing and charges for which they are responsible
- Inputs purchase requisitions into accounting software and pulls PO numbers when consolidated.
- Inputs inventory receiving into accounting software.
- Performs a variety of office and clerical duties as needed.
- Provides backup to the supervisor in their absence.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Clerical experience and knowledge of accounts receivables or office management preferred.
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm with possibility of overtime.
Compensation: $17 / hour.
Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
