Responsibilities
Complies with safety rules and regulations, attends safety meetings and training. Also, reports injury/illness and/or environmental incidents.
Performs laboratory project work to support product development, troubleshooting and improvements.
Completes color matches, raw material evaluations and testing for the plastics market segments as required.
Develops proficiency in maintaining required record keeping including electronic lab book entries and report generation as required.
Suggest improvements to the Technical Service Manager.
Maintains good housekeeping practices for assigned work area and all areas worked in.
Required Experience
Working towards a BA/BS Degree in Science or Engineering.
Adequate color discrimination skills.
Strong mathematical aptitude.
Strong customer focus with a sense of urgency.
Good oral and written communication skills.<
