Responsibilities  

• Complies with safety rules and regulations, attends safety meetings and training. Also, reports injury/illness and/or environmental incidents. 

• Performs laboratory project work to support product development, troubleshooting and improvements. 

• Completes color matches, raw material evaluations and testing for the plastics market segments as required. 

• Develops proficiency in maintaining required record keeping including electronic lab book entries and report generation as required. 

•  Suggest improvements to the Technical Service Manager.  

• Maintains good housekeeping practices for assigned work area and all areas worked in. 

Required Experience 

• Working towards a BA/BS Degree in Science or Engineering. 

• Adequate color discrimination skills. 

• Strong mathematical aptitude. 

• Strong customer focus with a sense of urgency. 

• Good oral and written communication skills.<
