Day-to-day duties include partnering with business units on complex people issues, as well as assisting with the implementation and execution of leadership development programs, employee engagement initiatives and compensation programs. Ideal candidates for this position have a strong business-oriented mindset, excellent project management skills, and an expert knowledge of HR practices and regulations. Essential Functions of the Role:
  • Advise leaders on people issues, supported by measurement and evaluation.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of compensation programs, including job analysis, drafting job descriptions, and researching market pricing.
  • Partner with departments on talent management analysis and decisions. 
  • Assist with administration of company benefits including leave of absence and disability programs.
  • Respond to complex employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and counsel management on corrective action procedure.
  • Assist with the development of formalized leadership development and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate Company unemployment responses.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Remain current on evolving regulations and legal requirement to minimize legal risk and ensure compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of HR experience required.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.

 

Education / Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources required; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
 

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Requires normal vision (corrected) both close and distant.
  • Requires normal hearing levels (corrected).
  • Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time.
  • Requires sitting, bending.
  • Works effectively with frequent interruptions.
  • Lifting requirements of 10 lbs. occasionally.
  • Minimal travel <5%.
