Seven Seas Water, which provides water treatment and desalination for governmental and industrial customers in Latin America and the Caribbean, and the AUC Group (www.aucgroup.net), which provides decentralized wastewater treatment plants for industrial and municipal customers in the United States. Seven Seas Water delivers ~18 Bn gallons of clean water annually. We operate 11 water treatment plants internationally. We have more than 140 wastewater treatment plants under lease in the United States with property developers, municipal customers and utility districts. We consistently maintain a +97% plant availability for our customers.

The Role
HR generalists should have a broad knowledge of HR topics and excellent interpersonal communication skills. They should also have a strong technical understanding of labor laws and regulations. This role will heavily support our talent functions as a recruiter as well as being a part of the HR team for administrative support, HRIS system updates, policy administration, and payroll support. HR Generalists should exhibit strong decision making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, recruiting processes, and be able to multi-task and adapt in a fast paced environment. Candidate will also be able to manage a high level of confidentiality of employee information. This role will work a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days weekly on-site in the Tampa Corporate office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities will be :
· Help with sourcing of talent for assigned roles as part of the HR & Talent team to support the full recruitment process for all levels of the organization in the U.S., South America, and the Caribbean.
· Helps draft and update job descriptions for new roles as well as post jobs in the company ATS.
· Screens candidates and helps coordinate the scheduling of interviews between hiring managers and candidates.
· May assist with outreach communications to candidates on social media, and tools like Linked In or Indeed working with the Talent Manager and Marketing team.
· Works to develop a strong partnership with managers throughout the organization both for hiring purposes, and for managing employee relations issues with supervisors and managers
· Help with benefits administration as needed. (health, dental, vision, life, 401(k), disability, HSA/FSA, PTO and leave balance tracking, and updating carrier sites as needed.
· Assist with background screening for candidates, and help coordinate on-boarding processes for new hires as well as completing reference checks.
· Will update employee records both electronically and in some paper files.
· Helps update data in the HRIS, and other related HR and payroll systems
· May train for additional support and back-up of other HR team members.
· May help with payroll processes for U.S. and international locations
· Helps answer employee questions on benefits, timekeeping, payroll, or policy administration
· Provides support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, payroll and timekeeping questions or other issues as they arise
· Helps support all company policies and procedures, and may help with loading documentation to electronic signing programs.
· May help with coordination of learning and development scheduling, and updating training records in the safety management and the HRIS systems.
· May help run reports and provide HR data as needed from HR and payroll systems.
· May travel to other sites for recruiting or HR events, or to attend training
· May handle employee relations questions, and refers complex, or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR leader or management team member.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in Human Resources
· Participates in other HR projects as assigned.
